Helping you live your BEST life!

**While it is not my intention, please note some of my posts could potentially be triggering.

My wish is to get back to the simple things; all the simple pleasures life has to offer all of us.

With this blog I wish to encourage dreams, promote self-improvement and empowerment, and provide healing words to those whose hearts and souls need and deserve it.

Life may not always be easy, but, if you just take a moment to breathe in deep and exhale, and look around and notice all the beautiful little things, you'll be reminded that life is a gift that truly is worth living.

Quote Of The Day

“Peace comes from within. Do not see it without”.-Buddha

“Become that which you are seeking”. Wise words! It involves the concept of the law of attraction. If we think it we become it. “All that we are is the result of what we have thought.” So, so true. If we concentrate our thoughts and actions on a particular goal or desire it will eventually be manifest. If we constantly dwell on the negative we will never have positive in our lives. If you want love in your life you must love yourself first, if you want peace in your life you have to first find peace within yourself. It really is that simple!

I think we as humans complicate our lives to an extent that we become overwhelmed and when it is time for change we are ill equipped to make the necessary transition. We get too wrapped up in the who’s, what’s, and why’s of life.

If we want peace in our lives we must first make peace with ourselves and within ourselves. Many of us blame ourselves for things that were no fault of our own. We can not allow others to define who we are or how we should feel. We’re always trying to rationalize why things happen. Sometimes there just is no straight-forward answer. Sometimes there just isn’t any answer at all. It is what it is as the saying goes. In this case some things are better kept a mystery and some words better left unsaid.  Accept this and move forward with your life.

The second part of Buddha’s quote says, “No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.” Your peace will never come from an outside source. No one will ever be able to bring us the genuine peace and happiness that we long for. You personally must take the responsibility of finding it, nurturing it, and making it manifest.

So, love yourself first. Learn to forgive yourself as well as others. Think highly of yourself. If you don’t think this way about yourself how can you expect anyone else will? Be ever mindful and hopeful of your future. Learn lessons from life and live in the present. Leave the past in the past. Remember, no one can define your life but you.
